ARRIVAL

DAY 1: ARRIVE TO ENTEBBE AND BE TRANSFERRED TO YOUR HOTEL
On your arrival at Entebbe international airport (EBB), you will be met by our staff and your designated driver guide that will brief you about your 8 days safari to Kidepo Valley National park and transfer you to your hotel for relaxation. You can have an optional walking tour around Entebbe depending on your time of arrival.

DAY 2:TRANSFER TO PIAN UPE WILDLIFE RESERVE
In the early morning depart for Pian Upe Game Reserve. The reserve is covered by wooded grassland. The wildlife attractions here include; leopards, Cheetahs, spotted hyenas, lions, Roan antelope, Mountain Red buck, the errand, bush bucks, water bucks, ostriches and birds like the rare shoe bill, clip springer and many other birds, vervet monkeys, olive baboons bur hell’s Zebra, buffalo, eland, Hartebeest, greater Kudu, Topi, Orib, Dik-dik and Uganda’s last population of roam antelope. Later get check in at the lodge for a relaxed evening plus dinner and overnight.

DAY 3:FULL DAY GAME DRIVE AS YOU DISCOVER THE TREASURES OF PIAN UPE WILDLIFE RESERVE
After having breakfast, go for a game drive inside Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve which is popular for its signature dazzling sunsets and sunrises, which you won’t help but breathe in when you visit. Every morning, the sun comes out from its resting spot behind the mountains and descends over the horizon in some of the most rewarding sunsets you will ever see. The reserve is also home to large herds of ungulates including the Common Eland, a small population of Zebra, Hartebeests, Günther’s Dik Dik, the popular Oribis, and the impalas which were recently relocated here from Lake Mburo National Park. Cape Buffalo, the Uganda Kob, Waterbuck, Blue and Common Duiker, Klipspringers and the Bohor and Mountain Reedbuck also enjoy the homely Pian Upe Game Reserve. Cheetah sightings measure up to 80% chances, making it the best place in the country to see earth’s fastest mammal. Later get back to the lodge for a relaxed evening plus dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: TRANSFER TO KIDEPO NATIONAL PARK FOR WILDLIFE VIEWING
After breakfast drive northwards through North eastern Uganda in a landscape of vast plains and semi-arid savannah framed by jagged mountains and wooded hills, Kidepo is one of the wildest and most spectacular reserves in Africa. The landscape throughout the park is studded with small hills, rocky outcrops and inselbergs from which one can obtain stunning views in all directions enjoy panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and photographic opportunities of wildlife from all corners, An afternoon game drive along the Narus River Valley for game Viewing and photography of Elephants, herds of Buffaloes, Jackals, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Klipspringer and possibly Lions. Later get back to the lodge for a relaxed evening plus dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: MORNING GAME DRIVE AND EVENING KARAMAJONG COMMUNITY TOUR
Depart in the morning after break and carry with you packed lunch for game drive to the hot springs via the palm trees lined Kidepo River, in search for Ostriches and leopards, tortoises along the way. After having our packed lunch we will stench our legs on guided nature walk through the park and return to hotel Karamoja villages for an exciting community encounter with the Karamajong pastoralists, relax and have time to enjoy the wildernesses night overstay. Later get back to the lodge for a relaxed evening plus dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
After having breakfast, check out of your lodge and drive southwards to Murchison Falls National park reaching late in afternoon in Northern part of Murchison falls. After lunch, you can depart for a game drive across the savannah in the northern part of the park. You will see abundant wildlife as the sun rises as Murchison Falls National Park is a home of game including Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hartebeests, Giraffes and a heaven of antelopes. Later check in at the lodge for a relaxed evening plus dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: MORNING GAME DRIVE, BOAT CRUISE AND HIKE TO THE TOP OF MURCHISON FALLS
After an early morning warm up tea/coffee, you will transfer for a game drive to the northern bank in search of animals like: Lions, Giraffes, oribis, Elephants, Jackson’s hartebeests, Uganda kobs, Buffaloes among other animals and bird species. You will then return to the lodge in time for lunch and relax preparing for yet an exciting activity in the afternoon. After lunch, transfer for a three hours boat ride on the Nile River to the bottom of falls where you will have the opportunity to view animals like; crocodiles, hippos, in the water and some on the river banks, while; buffaloes, waterbucks, and elephants are often seen on the river bank grazing and drinking water. You will then have to hike to the top of the falls for a clear view of the falls. Return to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight. Later get back to the lodge for a relaxed evening plus dinner and overnight.

DAY 8: RHINO TRACKING IN ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY AND TRANSFER TO ENTEBBE
After having breakfast at your pace, set off for Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, which is the only place in Uganda where the rhinos are seen in the wild! You will do the tracking on foot and get up close to these members of the African big five mammals. Enter the territory of the southern white rhinos on foot. Well-trained rangers will guide you through the bush to where the rhinos are on the day of your visit. You will get the opportunity to watch these endangered, magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. As these Rhinos are free to move around on 7 000 hectares of land, it is often necessary to drive to the areas where the rhinos are, before taking the bush trek. You will have lunch at the sanctuary and relaxation for some time. With Lunch en-route or at the sanctuary depending on your schedule, you will be transferred back to Entebbe.
